Dr. Cecilia Bentsi graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1967. She is a Specialist Medical Microbiologist, Member of West African College of Physicians and a Fellow of Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. She was the Head of Health Laboratory Services for Ghana and retired as Head of Private Sector Unit of the Ministry of Health, a Unit which she initiated and helped establish for promoting the growth and development of the private health sector for its increased participation in health care delivery and contribution to the achievement of the health sector goal.
